Old family photographs scanned and printed on to muslin, using Bubble Jet Set and the Sepia setting on the printer. They are lightly padded and applied to a muslin background, all with frayed edges.
Proust described how memories of childhood were stimulated by lime-flower tea, so I have decorated the piece with lime flowers free machined on soluble fabric and with tea-bag labels.
The blue background is not part of the hanging, but the contrast makes it much easier to visualise.
