The magic of winter (or rather, the natural process) is that there is fresh growth pushing up through the nasty white stuff. I thought of snowdrops; my husband thought of his overwintering garlic and onions. Unfortunately, we rarely have snow nowadays, so a photograph is unlikely to be available.
The text has political suggestions. But at the time of production, we were waiting for the next lockdown.
